I. Project Background
As more and more electronic products enter people’s work and daily life, a large number of electronic components are produced and used. In the manufacturing process of electronic components, dispensing is a crucial process. By controlling fluids such as glue through a dispensing machine, it can drip or coat fluids onto the surface or inside of products within a set time, achieving precise dispensing and glue control.

The non-contact dispensing pump feeds compressed air into the glue bottle (syringe) to press the adhesive into the feed pipe connected to the piston chamber, where heating and temperature control are performed to achieve optimal and stable viscosity. When the piston is on the upstroke, the piston chamber is filled with adhesive. When the piston pushes down toward the dispensing needle, the adhesive is ejected from the needle tip and drips onto the product to form a glue dot.

The dispensed volume is determined by the downward stroke distance of the piston, which can be adjusted manually or controlled by programming. However, excessive or insufficient dispensing may occur during the process, resulting in non-standard glue dots. Therefore, it is necessary to record the dispensing process using a high-speed camera to adjust the relevant parameters of the equipment.
