I. Metal Inert Gas (MIG) Welding
As the "tailor" of industry, welding is an essential processing method in industrial manufacturing.Argon arc welding is a welding technique that uses argon as the shielding gas, also known as gas-shielded arc welding.Among them, Metal Inert Gas (MIG) welding uses a consumable electrode.The welding wire is fed by wire rollers into the welding zone, where an arc forms between the wire and the base material, melting both to create a weld pool.Argon gas flows out from the nozzle to provide shielding. As the welding torch moves, a weld bead is formed.

MIG welding has high requirements for weld pool shielding. Poor shielding can cause oxidation of the weld material and absorption of harmful gases, easily leading to rough surfaces on the weld bead, which negatively affects weld formation and joint mechanical properties.Therefore, high-speed cameras are needed to monitor the dynamic welding process and spatter behavior in real time.
