Point-Spectrum Depth Inspection of Screw Holes on Mobile Phone Middle Frames
Point-Spectrum Depth Inspection of Screw Holes on Mobile Phone Middle Frames
As mobile phones become more sophisticated, manufacturers are imposing stricter controls on details such as the depth of screw holes in mobile phone middle frames. To ensure product assembly quality, prevent workpiece penetration and processing waste, manufacturers require high-precision inspection of screw hole depths to improve product quality and production efficiency.

In this session, Mr. Shen will demonstrate a case of inspecting the depth of screw holes on mobile phone middle frames using the SC Series confocal chromatic displacement sensors.
I. Inspection Requirements
Product: Screw holes on mobile phone middle frames
Measurement item: Depth
II. Measurement Process
The solution uses direct point-spectrum measurement to record the height difference from the bottom of the screw hole to the inner edge of the hole opening.

Data description:10 dynamic measurements were performed using the SC04025 sensor, with a height difference repeatability of 0.0002 mm.
III. Sensor Selection

The independently developed SC Series confocal chromatic displacement sensors from Shenshi Intelligent offer outstanding cost performance and excellent angular characteristics. They easily overcome blind-spot measurement challenges and adapt to various materials, with superior measurement accuracy and stability.Customers with precision measurement needs are welcome to contact us for consultation and purchasing.
