We offer a range of services covering child labour prevention and remediation, child rights risk and impact assessments, family-friendly workplaces, young worker development and more. Our services support companies to protect and promote child rights across their operations and supply chains, helping you to manage risks and meet evolving human rights due diligence requirements while at the same time creating positive impacts for working families, children and youth in your supply chain.

From top management all the way down to sub-contracting and raw material sites, we connect business interests and activities to realities on the ground and turn concepts into action. Crucially, we systematically measure the impacts of the programmes and services we deliver for workers, children and factories – helping to demonstrate return on investment and strengthen the business case for child rights.

Working with The Centre significantly exceeded our expectations. Their professional approach and commitment played a pivotal role in addressing deep-rooted stigmas and bridging key knowledge gaps in the plantation sector, including among Sri Lanka's tea-growing communities and estate management tiers."

It is the key focus of Migros to protect the human rights of workers and mitigate corresponding salient risks in our supply chain. Taiwan is one of the areas with overseas migrant workers in common; we found there is a need to enhance our Taiwan factory's awareness of migrant workers’ rights and corresponding recruitment practices. Thanks to The Centre for Child Rights and Business for organising the project; we did observe the enhancement of factories’ awareness and practices throughout the process.

In 2023, The Centre conducted a thorough harassment awareness and prevention workshop at a supplier factory in China. Their holistic approach included training for workers and practical recommendations aimed at fostering long-term prevention. The factory has since implemented a zero-tolerance policy and added anti-harassment policies to staff handbooks, with biannual training planned to strengthen prevention. We commend The Centre for their professionalism and effectiveness in delivering this workshop.

As the Otto Group, we have been committed to fair and safe working conditions for more than 25 years. In these extraordinary times, it is particularly important to us to support the employees and their children individually and directly. I am delighted that [we] we can help at such short notice and lay the foundation for a long-term commitment.
