Cytokeratin 7 (CK7) is a basic cytokeratin with a molecular weight of 54kDa, which exists in glandular and transitional epithelial cells of most normal tissues, such as lung, breast, endometrium, thyroid and ovary. It can be used for the differential diagnosis of lung adenocarcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma, the differential diagnosis of renal cell carcinoma, chromophobe carcinoma, and oncocytic carcinoma. It can be used to identify primitive T cell tumors such as lymphoblastic leukemia. to determine the primary site of adenocarcinoma.
